A Big Hello to All My Groovie Girlfriends!

We are now into the 9th Month of the Year 2008 and I sincerely hope everyone is in Good Health and enjoying their time each passing moment.

I would also like to Wish all my Groovie Girlfriends and their Families a Happy Ramadan and may the journey of fasting on this Holy month be a smooth one.

I hope the Little Ones are enjoying their One Week school holiday. They truly deserve a break after the Assessments they had and time to have Groovie Fun before it's back to school again!

Hello Groovie Girlfriends!

It's now the month of August and for our Sunny Island of Singapore, we will be celebrating our Birthday!!! A month of celebration for those having Birthdays, Anniversaries and other Special Occasions :)

It's also my pleasure to Welcome Groovie Stef and her family to Singapore!
We hope you will have a wonderful time during your stay here.

Sophia Soh

Hi Groovie Chicks! I’m Sophia and it’s an absolute thrill and honor for me to be invited by Ed to be her FGGD for the month of August!

I’ve been scrapping for about 2 years now and it’s now an outlet for me to escape from the hustle and bustle of my busy schedule as well as a channel to express my feelings and thoughts via this paper craft. When I started scrapbooking, I wanted to record the moments of my then baby boy in a form of a scrapbook, to record down his milestones. Now it’s become a mad, passionate hobby for me!

What inspire me in my pages are mainly the love I have for my family and their love and support for me. I’m thankful and grateful that I have these wonderful people in my life to share moments with and often I would like to put them in my SB pages forever. And now, because of scrapbooking, I’m starting to take a keener interest in photography and its rules and techniques applied; which I try to do so in my Los now.

August marks a celebrative month for us in Singapore! It’s our
1) National Day on 9^th August
2) Fireworks Festival
3) The start of the Beijing Olympic Games.

It’s time to Reach for the Stars and realize your dreams!!

My Groovie Challenge for you this month?

1) Using SB elements to create a visual triangle in your LO (i.e. photos or embellishments)

2) Showcase the use of stars in your LO! Could be in patterned paper, stamps, doodled or your embellishments.

3) If possible, include the main colors of red, white and some black.

Jumping For July!

A Big Hello and Waves to all my Groovie Girlfriends!

We are now into the 7th Month of 2008 and half a year has passed us and I hope Everyone had wonderful moments during that time with Family, Friends and your Loved Ones. We had our Groovie Gathering in June and it was fun and it's always Great meeting up and getting our Groovie Little Ones together.

We also had our Secret Groovie Girlfriend Gift exchange which was a fun event and Thanks to those that joined in and Everyone made a great effort to alter items, adding Yummy Goodies and all the little extra touches meant for their Secret Groovie Girlfriend :)

Hi there scrappers, my name is Jessie Pang aka Pandachu and I work full time as a “legal beagle” and squeeze in scrapping at nights and on weekends when Mr Mojo is around. I started scrapping in January 2007 and have been hooked (especially to the shopping) ever since!! It's an absolute honour to be the featured guest designer for this month at Groovie and I do hope you will all join in for the challenge. As I’m not married, I usually scrap about my relationship with my family, friends and my boyfriend.

Jessie's Challenge

My challenge for you this month is to create a LO about a good friend that has been with you through the years. I’d like to see the words “best friends” somewhere in the LO and challenge you to use cut-outs from pattern paper too.

The friend featured in my LO is one of my oldest friends. Since primary school we’ve somehow always managed to stay in touch no matter despite being in different countries throughout the years in our education and work. We’re now settled in 2 different countries but still not that far away from each other so we get to catch up from time to time.
